About this service
Tajweed, memorisation and understanding for children and adults, one to one, at home in Milan or online.
Quran lessons at Hajra Milano, known to many of our families simply as Hajra Quran, are one to one, so the pace is always the student's own. A child who is just learning the letters and an adult returning to the Quran after years away both get a plan built around where they actually are, not a class average.
Tajweed comes first, taught in short, repeated passages until the sounds are natural. Memorisation follows with weekly review so that what is learned is kept. For older students we add tafsir basics and the Arabic vocabulary that turns recitation into understanding.

Lessons are priced per session, with a lower rate for a fixed weekly slot. You receive the rate and the plan in writing after the free first meeting, and you can pause or stop at any time.
Questions we hear often
Before you ask
My child cannot read Arabic yet. Where do you start?
With the letters, their sounds and their shapes in words, using short daily practice you can do together at home. Recitation of short surahs begins as soon as the sounds are reliable.
Can lessons be online?
Yes. Online lessons by video call work well for Quran because the teacher hears every sound clearly. Families in Italy, the Gulf, the UK and Pakistan study with us this way.
Do you teach adults who are shy about their level?
Very often, and always without judgement. Lessons are private, patient and built around your goal, whether that is leading prayer at home or completing a memorisation you started years ago.
