Interpreting at appointments
Understood at the counter, and understanding what you are told.
About this service
Someone beside you at the questura, the comune, the notary, the doctor, the school or the bank, and on the phone when you need an answer now.
Appointments in Italy move fast and use words nobody teaches you. An interpreter from Hajra Milano comes with you, explains what is being asked, helps you fill in forms on the spot and makes sure your answers are heard as you meant them.
For quick questions we interpret by phone or video call during working hours, for example when a landlord, a school secretary or a bank calls and you need to reply straight away.

How it works
Four steps, one contact.
Tell us what you need
A WhatsApp message or the form is enough. Write in any of our five languages.
A free 20-minute meeting
By phone, video or in person in Milan. We listen, ask questions and tell you honestly what we can do.
A clear written plan and price
A short summary of what happens, when, and what it costs. No surprises later.
One contact, ongoing
The same person who knows your story each time you write, for as long as you need.
Pricing approach
A clear written plan, no surprises.
Priced per hour, minimum one hour, including travel within Milan. Phone interpreting is priced per call. Both are quoted in advance.
Questions we hear often
Before you ask
How much notice do you need?
Two working days for an accompanied appointment is ideal; same-day is often possible. Phone interpreting works on the spot during working hours.
Can the interpreter also help with the forms?
Yes. Filling in the module, checking the documents you brought and asking the clerk the right questions is part of the job.
Do you interpret for medical appointments?
Yes, with discretion. Tell us in advance if the subject is sensitive so we send the right person.
