About this service
Buying, selling and renting in Milan and on Lake Como, with guidance through Italian contracts and agencies.
Property in Italy involves agencies, notaries, banks and contracts written in a language most newcomers cannot read. We guide you through the whole process in your language: finding the right area, visiting with you, explaining offers and contracts, and coordinating with the professionals involved.
For newcomers we also handle the rental search, which in Milan moves fast and often depends on documents and guarantees that are unfamiliar to people arriving from abroad. We are not a licensed agency ourselves and we say clearly when a licensed intermediary is needed.

A short summary of what happens, when, and what it costs. No surprises later.

Questions we hear often
Before you ask
Are you an estate agent?
No. We are advisors who work alongside licensed agencies, notaries and banks so that you understand and control the process. When a licensed intermediary is required by law, we tell you and coordinate with one.
Can non-residents buy property in Italy?
In most cases yes, subject to nationality-based reciprocity rules and tax registration requirements. We explain what applies to you and refer you to a notary or lawyer for the legal confirmation.
What documents do I need to rent in Milan?
Typically a codice fiscale, proof of income or a guarantor, and identity documents; some landlords ask for more. We prepare the file with you before viewings so you can move quickly.
