Privacy notice
Short version: we use what you send us only to reply and to do the work you ask for. We do not sell or share it for marketing.
Who is responsible

What we collect and why
- Contact and booking forms: name, email, phone number if given, the topic and your message, and the meeting time you request. We use these to reply and arrange the meeting or service. Legal basis: your consent and, once you become a client, the contract with you. Submissions are delivered to our mailbox and, when enabled, recorded in a private Google Sheet used only by the Hajra Milano team to follow up.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: messages you send us directly are kept as part of our correspondence with you.
- Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security. This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your theme, motion and language preferences are stored only in your own browser.
- Live Quran page: when you choose a translation or a reciter, your browser loads that text or audio directly from alquran.cloud and islamic.network; those services see your IP address like any website you visit. Nothing is loaded until you choose. The Kids Area keeps game scores in your own browser only.
- Kids Area score boards: when a player reaches the top ten of a game they may save a name or nickname and, optionally, an email address and phone number for a parent or guardian. Only the name and the score are shown publicly; the details are stored on our server and in our Google Sheet, are never used for marketing, and are deleted on request.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our monthly email we store your address, the date and the page you subscribed from, and we send one confirmation email. Your address is added to the list only after you click the confirmation link (double opt-in). Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to contact@hajramilano.com to be removed. The list is kept on our own hosting in Italy and, when enabled, mirrored in the same private Google Sheet.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for the duration of our work together and for the period Italian tax and civil law requires afterwards. Unconfirmed newsletter subscriptions are deleted after 30 days.
Who sees it
Only the Hajra Milano team, our email and hosting providers (and Google, if the sheet is enabled), and, when a job needs them, the specific partner doing the work (for example a sworn translator), who receives only what is necessary for that task.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time to see, correct, delete or export your data, or to stop processing it. Email contact@hajramilano.com. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
